I wrote a blog months ago about the food truck MGM Smoked Chicken Crack, and since then, this truck has continued to hold Montgomery’s attention in a way very few food businesses manage to do. It’s one thing to go viral once, but it’s another to maintain a reputation that keeps people talking, sharing, and showing up. That’s exactly what this family‑owned business has done.
When I first saw the truck circulating all over social media, I assumed it was simply a chicken salad truck. The name was catchy, the buzz was loud, and curiosity eventually got the best of me. But the moment I walked up to the window, I realized this wasn’t an ordinary food truck experience. Before you even consider making a purchase, Brian and his wife offer samples a gesture that immediately sets them apart. In a time when many businesses are cutting corners, they are doing the opposite: giving customers a chance to taste the quality before spending a single dollar. That level of confidence in their product is rare, and it speaks volumes.
The menu itself has been a mystery to many people online, and I’ve seen countless comments asking what exactly they sell. The answer is simple: they sell their signature smoked chicken crack, along with pretzels, crackers, and drinks. No complicated menu, no confusion just a focus on doing one thing exceptionally well. And they do it exceptionally well.
Two qualities consistently stand out every time I visit: consistency and customer service. The flavor never changes. Every bite carries that unmistakable smoky taste, the ingredients are finely chopped with care, and the texture is balanced in a way that tells you this isn’t rushed or thrown together. This is food crafted with intention. This is a family that takes pride in what they serve.
I’ve tried many chicken salads over the years, and I can say with complete honesty that none have come close to this one. The smoky flavor alone puts it in a category of its own. The precision in preparation the way everything blends so seamlessly shows that this isn’t just food; it’s a perfected recipe, a signature, a craft.
I find myself checking their schedule weekly, hoping my availability lines up with their location. When it does, I make it a point to go. I’ve tried both versions with jalapeños and without and I always end up getting both. The small is priced at $6 and the large at $12, and considering the freshness, flavor, and quality, it is worth every bit of it.
I will admit, I used to enjoy it alone until I introduced my daughter to it. Now she wants some of mine, and I’m not thrilled about sharing. This food is addictive the kind of addictive that makes you hide your container in the back of the fridge so no one else finds it.
This is not a paid or sponsored post. This is simply me sharing something I genuinely enjoy and believe others should experience. If you haven’t visited MGM Smoked Chicken Crack yet, make it a priority. And when you go, let them know I sent you. When a business shows passion, consistency, and genuine care for its customers, they deserve our support. And this food truck has earned every bit of it.
