Tamarica: My name is Tamarica Washington, I’m 25 years old. I’m happily married to my husband Cle’Andre Washington. Together my husband and I have 3 kids and 1 baby boy on the way. I’ve been drawing since I was a little girl. Last year when the pandemic first started, I retired from being a hair braider after 6 years to pursue my art career. I’m a God fearing woman, God blessed me with my gifts so I use them to give him the glory. Me: What was your inspiration in starting your sculptures? Tamarica: I was tired of doing the same thing. I wanted to do something different, something I haven’t done before to challenge myself. I’m so glad I did because I love sculpting so much.
