HoneyPop Poppin Gourmet Popcorn is a family-owned business located in Montgomery, AL. You can find it right off the busy Atlanta Hwy. If you are familiar with Frazier Methodist Church, it is across the road.  They offer flavors that everyone in the family can enjoy.  They have different sizes, bags, and tins that you can choose from.  These sweet treats can be the perfect gifts for family members, co-workers, friends, or anyone special in your life.   You can purchase them online or you may visit them at 45 North Burbank; Montgomery, Al 36117.

When I entered the shop I automatically fell in love with the decor. The loud beautiful colors were fun and inviting. The smell of the different popcorn had my stomach growling and ready to try something different.   The many options can become overwhelming but the excitement of all choices was so fun.   The inner child in me, viewing all the different colors of popcorn had me in my happy place.

I wanted to get to know the owner Dr.Titania Adams. I went in to do an interview and came out inspired and received a lot of great advice. She not only served me some sweet treats but gave me some amazing knowledge. She not only runs an amazing popcorn shop but she is also an author of several books. They can be purchased at the shop or online.

Dr. Adams was a nurse who made the decision to become an entrepreneur. I was curious about where the name of her shop came from.  Honey was her grandmother’s name and Pop was her grandfather’s name.  I thought that was pretty clever and neat.

I was also curious to know what inspired her to start her business.

“Popcorn is like a blank canvas. You can do so much with them. It’s like a therapy”

Dr. Adams said her desire is to satisfy her customers and build relationships. Customers are very important to her. She has the goal to one day be able to sell her company as a franchise. I am super excited to see where God takes her on this journey.

The holidays are right around the corner, be sure to drop by to try the different seasonal popcorn that they offer. You can purchase a Whirley Popcorn Machine, their seasons, and oils. You  can see these items and more on their website.

I had the opportunity to try three different flavors: Lemon Pound Cake, Caramel Pecan , and Honey Crisp. First I would like to say each one of them were really fresh.    I have tried several different popcorn companies, some were hard or too soft.I can honestly say  there was not one bad popcorn in my bags. I wasn’t selfish and I allowed my teens to give them a try.    My son’s favorite was the Honey Crisp flavored, my daughter ‘s was the Lemon Pound Cake flavored, and as for myself I was torn between all three.  If I had to choose my most favorite out of the three, it would be Caramel Pecan.

I also had the opportunity to try her redvelvet and white chocolate balls. YOUR CHILD/CHILDREN WOULD LOVE THESE! Let them get out their favorite mugs,  and watch the little surprise that comes out, as you (the parent) pour the hot milk. This is great for family time with a night of pajamas and movies.

Do you have an upcoming event? Here you go! HoneyPop Popcorns offer services for weddings, baby showers, corporate events, and more.  Be sure to check what all they offer on their website.

Would I recommend: Most definitely! Customer service is awesome, the shop is SUPER CLEAN  and the product is great quality.

Will I be going back?  Yes I will!  There are at least five flavors I must try. With the holidays coming and many movies and reading nights in my future, these will definitely be a part of my snacks.

You can visit their website at www.honeypoppopcorn.com. Happy Poppin!

Featuring Interview with Cake Designer Nicole of OKC Cake Lady

Photos Provided By Nicole   Me: Hi Nicole! How did you start your passion for designing cakes and where are you located? Hi! I am located in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. I started working at a grocery store whenever I was 18 years old. I have always been a car Enthusiast and I had a mini truck that I was fixing up as a hobby. The grocery store manager asked if I wanted to work in the bakery to get more hours. Well, more hours equaled more money for my truck, and I kindly took them up on their offer. From there, I started in the bakery, and I absolutely loved it. I could not get enough of getting to create and putting smiles on customers faces. Me: What made you take a leap into starting your own business? I have always loved business. When I walk into other people's stores, I always look for ways to try to improve their store in my head. So, after working in the bakery for years I just knew that I could do this on my own and I would be a lot happier. I knew that being in my own environm

Featuring Tea Town in Montgomery, AL

Written By: Felecia Causey Tea Town is a family-owned restaurant located in Montgomery, AL.  It’s in a great location right off Vaughn Road, close to the AMC movie theater. The first thing that caught my attention was how clean it was.  I enjoyed how peaceful it seemed.  Oh, my goodness, my readers and followers know how important good customer service is to me.  The entire family that was there was so welcoming. I was impressed when they asked if I had any food allergies.  That was very courteous of them.    I wanted to get a little more background of this family.  Just by talking to Buu and Brandi I knew they were aiming to build relationships with their customers. Watching the interactions between them and each person that came through the door, told me that they would treat their customers like family.  It will definitely set them apart from many other restaurants in my book. Phat Trieu and Cam Thai came from Vietnam along with their kids.   They have been cooking for years and
