I first came across Ricos Taco Way online, and their menu instantly caught my attention. So, when I heard they were parked close to my house, I didn’t hesitate to check them out.

I arrived early and was the second person to order. Right after I placed mine, a line began to form—always a promising sign. I decided to go with their Birria Ramen priced at $10.75 and the Quesabirria Tacos at $12.75. Considering the prices I’ve seen at other food trucks recently; I thought these were more than fair.

The woman who took my order was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. Customer service was a solid five out of five stars. I received my food in less than ten minutes, which is practically unheard of in my food truck experiences. Everything was hot, fresh, and beautifully presented.

Let’s talk about the food.

Birria Ramen

The noodle bowl was huge, and I appreciated the generous portion. At first glance, I thought they had shorted me on the meat, but after giving the bowl a good stir, I realized everything was tucked beneath the noodles. Once mixed, the meat, cheese, and broth came together in a rich, flavorful combination. It was delicious, and I’ll definitely be going back for it again.

Quesabirria Tacos

The tacos were crunchy and fresh. While they could’ve used a bit more seasoning, they were still enjoyable and something I’d order again. The texture and freshness really stood out.

Would I Return?

Without a doubt. There’s still a lot on the menu I want to try. Would I recommend Ricos Taco Way? Absolutely. The customer service alone makes it worth visiting. I’m particular about how I’m treated when I eat out, and they exceeded my expectations.

One more thing—their health score was a perfect 100. That’s something I always look for, and it definitely adds to the confidence in choosing where to eat.

Minor Complaints

There were a couple of small things that didn’t sit well with me. The inclusion of limes was a welcome detail, and with a bit more attention to how they’re packed, it could elevate the experience even further. Also, the forks were stored head-up, making it easy for people to touch the part you eat with. These are minor issues, though, and not enough to keep me from going back.
