There are many young women that don’t have the luxury of being a daddy’s girl. It’s heartbreaking that to some that she never had the opportunity to go to a father and daughters’ dance, or have that male figure that  shows up at sporting events. Many men do not realize the effect his absence and present will make one day.  She has her mama, and the mother does an amazing job, but yes dad’s love and time does matter.

He will be the first man she will ever love. The person she will look to protect her, even when she doesn't feel like she needs to be saved. She will always depend on him for security. He will be the person who will encourage her to take risks, and be adventurous.

Girls tend to make their dad have a soft spot. The hard tough black bear, becomes a soft cuddly teddy bear when it comes to his little princess.

The influence of a father on their daughter will have a long- lasting impact, throughout her life. It’s a special bond, and most daughters look up to him like he’s Superman.

Anyone can father a child, but being a dad, plays a role in every child’s life that cannot be filled by others. Many men will not realize how his role can have a large influence on shaping his daughter into the person they will become.

Without a doubt, the father-daughter relationship has a heartwarming and intense bond.  It’s a crucial ingredient in the development of his daughters self-esteem. The way a dad shows his love to his daughter in turn helps teach their child to love themselves more, and will give them the boost to accept who she is.

Fathers remember your involvement with your daughter or son gives them an advantage both socially and academically over you not being in their life. She needs an influence on navigating the world. Be a bigger part of your daughter’s life today. Late is better than never.
