Every farmer has a story, but “Pharmboi” journey feels like it was written in the soil long before he ever planted his first seed. When I recently had the chance to chat with him many know him simply as Farmer V . I wanted to understand what sparked his path into agriculture. His answer took us back, to his mother’s flower garden.
Today, “Pharmboi” is a Jamaican‑born entrepreneur, Farm Manager, and Master Gardener whose work blends regenerative agriculture with cultural heritage. His approach honors traditional methods while promoting healing, sustainability, and social justice. Whether he’s cultivating crops, leading community projects, or teaching families how to grow their own food, his work is rooted in connection to land, to culture, and to community.
A graduate of the HABESHA Works program and a collaborator with Eco Paradigm, Pharmbo uses his platform to uplift others. He organizes children’s gardening events, supports food justice initiatives like the Food Clothing and Shelter Fest, and works to ensure that everyone has access to healthy, culturally relevant food. His leadership inspires future environmental stewards while amplifying community voices that too often go unheard.
