Featuring: Interview with Ashley Brown

I had the opportunity to interview the beautiful Ashley Brown, wife of NFL player Jaron Brown of the Seattle Seahawks. Please be sure to visit their website for amazing products and their new blog. I have the chance to exclusively share with you all some of their upcoming new products (look at the photos at the bottom of the page).

**Hi Ashley. It is really great to have you on my blog, can you please introduce yourself?

Thank you for having me. I am honored. My name is Ashley Brown. I am a wife and mother. I was born and raised in Germany but moved to the US in 2010 to attend Florida State University. After college I became a flight attendant, for US Airways, they later merged with American Airlines. My first month as a flight attendant, I met my husband on my flight from Charlotte to Phoenix. We have an amazing 3 year old daughter who truly runs the house!

**Briefly explain to my readers what does WUDDNME means?
It stems from Jaron's beliefs that he wouldn't be where he is today without the people in his life that have helped him get there. The brand is all about paying tribute to those that helped us all get to where we are today. From our parents, to teachers, trainers, coaches, spouse, kids, and mentors, we wouldn't be where we are today without them, so when we get praise for our achievements, "it Wuddnme," meaning that it wasn't just me that deserves credit.
It originally came from Jaron’s time with the Arizona Cardinals. After a phenomenal game a reporter asked him how he came down with the winning touchdown, and Jaron’s reply was just “Hey man, it WUDDNME.” To him it meant, it was God, his teammates, his coaches, his trainers, his family. It’s really about remaining humble when acknowledging success. It fits him so well because considering everything Jaron has accomplished in his short 29 years he is the most humble and down to earth person I have ever met. He literally embodies WUDDNME. It’s so easy to lose sight of that in playing professional sports, especially these days when the quite, humble guys often get overlooked.

**What inspired you and your husband to start the clothing brand?
People started saying “WUDDNME” constantly - from teammates in practice, to fans, then the media, and so it kind of just stuck. We were asked to do shirts because some really loyal teammates and fans were inspired. So we said why not, and it took off more than we could have ever imagined.

** Where can people that are interested in purchasing items visit for this information?
Our website Wuddnme.com has more details on our story and mission.
We're going to do a lot of charity products to help benefit people and families that are currently battling extreme adversity and need the help. We want to make sure that those that may feel alone are never alone, and that we can be there in their corner for them.
We are currently focused on helping out individuals and charities dedicated to overcoming adversity just as Jaron has. We often dedicate a shirt to a specific cause and donate profits to better a special family’s situation. Currently we are working with one of Jaron’s best buds and fellow Seattle Seahawks receivers Tyler Lockett to create a shirt to support a local military family. This cause lies close to our hearts because we were all military brats.

** I am very excited to visit you and Jaron's upcoming blog, when should we expect to view the first post?
The blog post will mainly be about other inspirational stories from fellow teammates and fans about overcoming adversity. We want to produce high quality content. And with the season starting we have to be patient and work around their busy schedules preparing for games each week. So please bare with us, we will post updates regularly. When the content drops we promise you won’t be disappointed.

**What is the name of the website?
WUDDNME.com

**I know football season is almost in full blast, and you both will be super busy, but are there any new ventures or upcoming events you would like for my readers to be on the look out for?
Yes! We are so excited about the customization gear we are launching in a few days. It’s for the team behind the scenes. For the spouses, kids, siblings, parents, teachers, coaches, pastors, mentors, trainers.
It takes a team to chase a dream. Make sure your team is representing for you. The first drop will be in neutral colors so it isn’t team specific but player specific. Everything is printed on high quality fabrics. But I have to admit I might be most excited about the clear stadium approved bag. It’s so diverse you can wear it as a backpack, shoulder, crossbody or messenger satchel. See the first mock ups below. You’re getting the exclusive sneak peak. No one has seen these yet!

Featuring Interview with Cake Designer Nicole of OKC Cake Lady

Photos Provided By Nicole   Me: Hi Nicole! How did you start your passion for designing cakes and where are you located? Hi! I am located in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. I started working at a grocery store whenever I was 18 years old. I have always been a car Enthusiast and I had a mini truck that I was fixing up as a hobby. The grocery store manager asked if I wanted to work in the bakery to get more hours. Well, more hours equaled more money for my truck, and I kindly took them up on their offer. From there, I started in the bakery, and I absolutely loved it. I could not get enough of getting to create and putting smiles on customers faces. Me: What made you take a leap into starting your own business? I have always loved business. When I walk into other people's stores, I always look for ways to try to improve their store in my head. So, after working in the bakery for years I just knew that I could do this on my own and I would be a lot happier. I knew that being in my own environm

Featuring Tea Town in Montgomery, AL

Written By: Felecia Causey Tea Town is a family-owned restaurant located in Montgomery, AL.  It’s in a great location right off Vaughn Road, close to the AMC movie theater. The first thing that caught my attention was how clean it was.  I enjoyed how peaceful it seemed.  Oh, my goodness, my readers and followers know how important good customer service is to me.  The entire family that was there was so welcoming. I was impressed when they asked if I had any food allergies.  That was very courteous of them.    I wanted to get a little more background of this family.  Just by talking to Buu and Brandi I knew they were aiming to build relationships with their customers. Watching the interactions between them and each person that came through the door, told me that they would treat their customers like family.  It will definitely set them apart from many other restaurants in my book. Phat Trieu and Cam Thai came from Vietnam along with their kids.   They have been cooking for years and
