Proverbs 3:6

Seek His will in all you do and He will show you which path to take

I was able to visit Tiers of Sweetness, located in Wetumpka, Alabama. I had fun at this cute location. It reminded me of an old-fashioned small-town romance movie. The owners of the company, Cherryl and Denice, provided an overview of their lives and the history of Tiers of Sweetness.

The cake-making sisters are a talented team. After completing a cake decorating course, Denice, who was previously a hair stylist, began her career as a cake decorator.

Cherryl joined her sister full-time after retiring from the Department of Conservation after 39 years of service. I adore how she saw her sister's vision and understood that her love and passion were revealed while assisting her.

When I visited, the women were very

friendly. I was captivated by their account of how God served as their compass and mentor during their business efforts. They discovered that the building in which they operate their business is the same one where their father used to get his hair cut. Emotions ran high as they told me this, and I even saw the ladies start to cry. I had shivers down my arms as they told me their story.

I liked the support they get from their husband and their community. As soon as I concluded my tour of their building, I could easily picture a book club meeting or bridal shower taking place there, along with some of the ladies many tasty treats.

I'm sure you all are eager to read about all the "sweetness." My mouth was watering at the sight of the gourmet sandwich cookies and cupcakes in the glass display as I strolled around admiring all the incredible cakes they had created.

I had the amazing opportunity to try a few of the desserts. Red velvet and cookies and cream are two foods that I adore. If you even mention either of these, you have already won my favor. My kids and I sat and discussed our favorite flavors after I let them join in.

As you can see, it was challenging to choose just a few of our favorites. My absolute favorite were Granny's red velvet cupcakes. The cake itself was incredibly moist and tasty. Although I usually enjoy pecans with red velvet cake or cupcakes, they really didn't need them. My daughter could not stop boasting about how much she loved the strawberry cupcakes, and my son chose the chocolate chip for his.

Younger people would love the sandwich cookies. Can you imagine the sheer joy a child would feel when they received one of these as a reward? My children loved them, my son especially. I think he would have taken the entire box if I had let him. The salted caramel and chocolate candy explosions were both excellent. The kids, favored the Snickerdoodle. If you're not from Wetumpka, Alabama, the drive is worthwhile. The view from the second story is amazing.

They offer a wide range of delicious treats. You can find all of their offerings on their website, www.tiersofsweetness.com. Tiers of Sweetness, LLC is also active on social media.
